Why Cornflakes Cranberry Cookies?

Cranberry Cornflakes Cookies, also known as Cornflakes cookies, are renowned treats during Hari Raya, beloved by many. These cookies are commonly served in households during the festive season. Not only are they quick and simple to prepare, but they also offer a delightful crunch with each bite, enhanced by the abundant cranberries. I opted for this recipe due to its simplicity and lack of eggs, making it suitable for those with egg allergies. The fusion of cranberry flavor with the cookie dough results in a truly delightful and scrumptious treat.


  • 250g butter
  • 110g icing sugar
  • Vanilla essence
  • 200g all-purpose flour
  • 50g cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 30g cornflakes & 30g dried cranberries (mix with batter)
  • Cornflakes & dried cranberries (for coating)



 1.Mix butter, icing sugar & vanilla essence.

 2. Add all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder (sifted).

 3. Add cornflakes & cranberries and mix well.

 4. Coat the dough with cornflakes.

 5. Preheat oven & bake at 170°, 20-23 minutes.
